Brilliant scenery, we had a lake and mountain view, we couldn't change the weather, but had a very relaxing time. Special thanks to Emma on reception who was so very kind and helpful with local her knowledge.

Superb views of lake from room. Tunnel down to lakeside useful. Secure garaging for cars if needed. Tourist bus very convenient to reach Malcesine. Evening meal very good value for money.
Room needed some renovation - shower had been broken and not repaired and furniture needed some attention to detail (knobs missing and paintwork dirty)

The view from the balcony was excellent, although the noise from the road was a little noisy. The staff were excellent and one of the receptionist's was extremely helpful and friendly. Evening meal very good value for money.
A little further from Malcesine than we were lead to believe would not have liked to stay there if we did not have a car as quite a distance from any facilities/major towns. Parking could be a problem as not enough parking spaces for all guests.

The terrace of the room had a nice view
In general was the rate way to high! Old and terrible look, a lot of flies in some of the food at breakfast, jus one of the staff was nice and polite and no restaurant at hotel was never open. In general very expensive regarding to standard and service.

It was very easy to find and away from the heavy tourist area. The bedroom that we had faced diectly onto the lake and the view fantastic. The reception staff were really excellent, always pleasant and anxious to help. The waiting staff were great too and had a sense of humour. The breakfasts were fresh, varied and plentiful. The dinner at night was exceptionally good value and defy you to eat everything. The serve yourself salad was fantastic.
The beds were as hard as boards and we had to put the provided blankets underneath the sheet to make them bearable. The shower was tiny and the control at bottom height so that when to turned round the shower was closed off, grrrr! Yet the room had a huge storage area with a 'sensitive' air freshener which when you popped your head in, sprayed at you. This space could have been incorporated into the bathroom to make it more fit-for-purpose. Not really a snack bar, very little choice and times limited at night, but the staff did try to help. Not really the hotels fault, but there is no path outside the hotel for quite some distance which means that if you get off the Tourist bus or an excursion bus, you have to risk your life walking at the side of a very fasy road. It's also very uneven and I fell and hurt myself.
